Subject: [NELA-A] [NELA-News] REMINDER: Pride 6/10 (one week away)
Pride March ( http://www.bostonpride.org/ ) is Saturday June 10 and begins at noon in Copley Square then marches through the South End and ends at the Boston Common.  The Parade will be televised live at the Boston Common (parade map can be found here: http://www.bostonpride.org/parade_map.php ).

The parade is predicted to attract record numbers this year, so tight organization will be key to making sure everyone has a great time:
Please plan to join NELA to march as one huge "leather contingent" in Boston's Pride March.  We need to encourage the visibility of leatherfolk in this one of New England's largest Pride parades. We look forward to seeing representatives of leather organizations from across New England and of course NELA associates, volunteers and friends.

After the parade plan to join NELA on Boston Common under the Leather Pride Tent for Pride Festival.  We'll have available water and snacks for parade marchers and of course we'll need a few volunteers for tent/table duty.  If you can put in a couple of hours of volunteer time please email chair@NELAonline.org

All marchers must be in their assigned place by 11:00 AM.  We will not be informed of our assigned place in the parade until the day before. Our exact spot will be on the voice mail (617-876-NELA (6352), website, and at the Pride main station at Copley.  NELA's contingent will meet on the steps of the Boston Public Library on Boylston Street at 10:30 AM., we will proceed from there to our assigned place.  No nudity.  Remember that there are families and little children on the street and on Boston Common
